Alexandra La Van is an abstract expressionist artist. She incorporates hand-dyed and painted fabric, silk, and lace into her paintings. Her inspiration comes from the cosmos, and she is enlightened by the colors and textures found throughout the universe.

Alexandra has been a commercial rug and tapestry designer and received her BFA from the University of California, Irvine.
